Philips – Avoiding Warranty

I had purchased a philips handsfree on 8th may 2013 from www.shopclues.com which was delivered to me around 21st may 2013 but after nearly 10 days of receipt, it stopped working so i contacted the service centre in karnal My Philips SHH4520 In-Ear Headphones (MRP 1299) is in service centre since nearly last 3 months and the customer services are not listening. Firstly they try to give me a product which is much lesser in price and after many calls, their chandigarh head called me and promised me that i will get the appropriate replacement within 7 days but its been 20 days and no reply has been given

Even if I don’t get my handsfree back, i want philips to bear a severe punishment as it is not a good practice. Firstly they were trying to replace it with an inferior one and when after repeated calls and my refusal to take the inferior product, they assured me that they will provide me one within 7 days but nothing comes true. So I want firstly my money on these handsfree back along with a compensation for my efforts and mental stress caused by them along with the purchase price of the new handsfree which I had to bought, due to the warranty avoidance plus a penalty for their pathetic service
