I had a phone connection no. 9938729855 since last 4 years in orissa zone Belpahar location. In the month of sept 2011 i visited abroad where my phone could not work and therfore was kept off for a period of about 20 days. Later when I started using the phone it was giving a message that connection is temporarily off for want of documents whereas the documents were with airtel since last 4 years and phone was in operation for 4 years. After a gap of about 2 months I went to local airtel dealer for submitting the documents . He told that the documents are already with them but the connection is diverted to some other customer . I cannot understand why such harrasment is done to loyal customers . There is approx. Rs 2000 balance on this number but everything is lost . My husband who is a Vice Prseident in Tata refractories ltd has now decided to take up disconnecting all airtel connections in the company where more than 100 post paid connections exist. Hope someone will see this complaint and resolve it at the earliest . This is cheating and harrasment to customer . Why should customer go for such purchases and services from Airtel ? I am sure this kind of behaviour will take Airtel to top of list in worst service providers in India.
