PNB regarding cheque clearance Slow & Pathetic

I am having a corporate account (#3017002100000776) at PNB, Muzaffarnagar branch. My PNB account blank Cheque was stolen/misused and the amount of Rs. 2.5 Lacs got deducted from my firm account on 30th Jan, 12 On 13th Mar, 12, this was come into a notice through bank statement that showed an amount of Rs 200 was deducted against cheque rejection on 27/01/12 and the same cheque was shown cleared on 30/01/12. I immediately contacted the branch and asked why and how this amount was deducted from the account against a blank cheque. On inquiring with bank, the same cheque was shown but was filled and signed. Also, it was marked as “Signature Differ” by Bank Cheque clearance dept. On questioning the concerned bank officer about the cheque clearance though it was rejected by their ‘signature verification department’, He just answered that “Signature didn’t match so it was rejected by the clearance department. Further on asking him that If the cheque was found with wrong/incorrect/fraud signature then how such a big amount cheque got cleared successfully without intimating the Account holder for the signature-mismatch which was also rejected by the bank Signature verification dept . He said, “We will take action against this and do the needful”. But since then we contacted the bank multiple times for the resolution but every time, we have been made fooled by the bank from more than a year. This was a big fault and negligence of the bank and their staffs. There is no bank protocol and process being followed in PNB bank A week back also, I escalated the matter to PNB Higher body (PNB Central Delhi) and their grievance email but I didn’t get a resolution yet. Please help us in compensating my loss of Rs. 250200.00/- with interest and for all the harassment & suffering that a customer had to face due to bank fault, negligence and missing protocols.
