Respected Sir, Sub: POST MASTER IS CREATING his own rules in the PASSPORT DELIVERY. I, K.HARI, Resident of Ashok Nagar, in the current year I have applied for PASSPORT and it is approved and dispatched from passport but at the time of delivery the postman( Nagaraju-ph- 9440711724) is not at all ready to delivery in my home (To My wife, mother or Father) as he demanded I should have to present personally, finally he has not at all given in my home to any one and for that reason I have come personally by taking permission from the office, and received the passport and after this I have enquiry about the rules and regulations of the passport finally came to know that the passport rules are as follows AS PER PASSPORT DEPARTMENT “Any family member of the applicant (who is in blood relation), can collect the pass port from the postman by showing his /her identity card. However, it would be advis able if you collect the pas s port personally.” As Per Governmnet Of India Ministry Of Communications & It Department Of Post Business Development And Marketing Directorate Also, The speed post articles containing passport is addressee specific. Such article may be received “ Either by the addressee or authorized representative on behalf of the addressee” as has been prescribed by BD & M Directorate OM NO.57-01/2010-BD&MD Dated 1st June, 2010 that lays down the procedure for delivery of speed post articles
