This is to bring to light the unprofessional service professional service courier offers. I had registered a package containing a camera lens worth Rs.6310 from Bangalore to Kolkata on the 16th of September and I was promised that it’ll be delivered in 2-3 days.The docket no. is BLR225081175.Yet until now the package is not delivered. I tried contacting the office where I delivered the parcel on the following numbers – * 080 22960xxx *9844504xxx The landline number either doesn’t go through or if it does is never answered. The mobile number was picked up the first time but the concerned person has noted my number and made sure that he never picks up my call again. Thus I had to visit the office again and catch him red handed while his phone was ringing. I was then informed that my parcel is missing! After all this trouble this is what he informs me! A complaint was then raised, complaint no. being 50369. I was also given 2 Kolkata courier office numbers – * 033 22840xxx *033 22840xxxx On speaking with Ms.Anuradha,of customer care dept., she insists that I call the Bangalore office and sort out the issue as she is helpless since the parcel is not in their hand. After days of running around and trying to contact various professional courier customer care numbers it finally came to my notice that a whole lot of items shipped on the 16th of September to Kolkata was seized by the sales tax department there. And I’d been informed to pay up Rs.1820 for non declaration of the product. How can they expect the customer to know about the rules of West Bengal state where in any item shipped to that state has to be declared? It’s the duty of their staff to inform me of the same prior to booking the item. Their staff is either inexperienced or was only bothered about booking the consignment to get some business.They did not ask or check with me for the concerned documents and neither did they declare the value on the consignment slip even though there’s a provision for the same. I’m attaching the the slip herewith for your kind perusal.

I want them to either pay the penalty and get the lens released and shipped it back to me or pay me Rs.6310 i.e. the cost of the lens.
