Professional Couriers – Package Not Delivered

Through their customer care inquiry I had arranged for a pickup of a laptop to be delivered at Hyderabad, The pickup was scheduled between 3.30 & 6.30 pm on the same day. The packet was collected at 9.00 pm. The amount (with Insurance) was quoted as Rs.1094/- The amount collected was Rs.1477/- after confirming from their office. In spite of the fact that that the item was a laptop I was not informed to remove the battery. The pickup boy who checked the contents & sealed the package also did not ask us to do the same. The packet was not delivered on Scheduled time on wednesday 09/07/2014. On contacting customer care on 10/07/2014 I was informed that the package was not accepted by the airlines as the battery was not removed.The total blame for not removing the battery was passed on to us. The staff did not inform us about the same at any point while pickup. Their department did not even think it appropriate to inform us about non acceptance of package by the airlines. What is the purpose of taking Mobile numbers? I am totally dissatisfied with the service rendered by FEDEX. I requested them to return the package along with the payment made by me at the pickup address immediately. Incidentally I may add that the said laptop (acer ultra notebook) was delivered by Amazon via Airmail in exactly the same condition in USA at my sons residence. Copy of the said bill has already been supplied to them. Till Today i.e. 21/07/2014, I am constantly mailing them with this issue and am not getting any responses. I need my money back with comensation.

The laptop was to be delivered to my brother in Hyderabad for his birthday. All the sentiments have gone in vain. I request you to get money of the courier back, as th package was returned to me and the refund of the same has still not being made.
