I had registered for NDNC last year. But I still keep receiving marketing calls form the telemarketers.

One such telemarketer, Birla Sun Life (‘BSL’), has given me countless calls. Each time I receive a call from BSL, I check from the telemarketer if they have checked my number in the DND list, to which they have invariably replied that they did not check the DND list.

After getting 2-3 calls form BSL, each time I received a call from BSL, I requested them to remove my name from their database so that I do not receive any future call from them. I was assured each time that I will not get any further call from them.

Inspite of this assurance, I keep getting call from BSL. Now I have noted down the details of atleast 5 calls (ie telephone number, date and time of call, name of the person calling) from BSL as a proof that I received a call from them.

These are only the few details which I could note down. I have received several more calls from the same company, the details of which I could not note down because of some or other reason.

Please take this matter seriously and penalise the company.
