I had ordered a book ‘The Brotherband- The Hunters’ from rediff Shopping in May 2013. Payment was Cash on Delivery and the cost was Rs 225/-. A wrong book ‘An Engineering Approach to Digital Design’ was delivered to me on May 9, 2013. The book was immediately returned to rediff, within 2 days and the cost of courier was Rs 70/-. I was informed by rediff through email and phone that the cost of book and courier charges will be refunded within 12 working days. A refund cheque for Rs 225 was sent by rediff to the wrong address in June 2013. After many emails to Rediff, finally I managed to convince them that the cheque has gone to the wrong address and by email I was informed that a fresh cheque will be issued to me at my correct address. Till date I have not received my money. The last email from Rediff is on September 3, 2013 wherein they have again agreed to send me my refund but even after one month there is no sign of receiving my money.

I want to get my refund of Rs 295/- (225- cost of book, 70- cost of courier) If required I can forward you the emails which have gone back and forth between Rediff and me in this regard. There are no other documents to furnish.
