Rediff Shopping – Wrong Product Delivered. Delay in refund.

I ordered a book to revise my syllabus just before my exams from rediff shopping. I paid a sum of Rs. 1163/- through credit card. On their website they said that the product will be delivered within 3-4 days. As my exams were approaching, I ordered the book online to save on time. Rediff delivered the book late and that too the wrong book. On 12th Dec 2013, Rediff asked me to send the book back. I asked them to collect the book instead. After 4-5 days they collected the book. Since then I have had a few communications with them on e-mail. I asked them to call me but they never called me up. Finally they assured me that the amount will be refunded with in 20 working days. I waited for 20 days but I didn’t receive my refund. When I contacted them again, they said they are investigating the status of my order. Now they have sent a reply that the refund will take another 10-15 working days. They have really bothered me like anything.

Appropriate compensation for all the inconvenience and extremely bad service they rendered
