I requested Reliance digital TV to help me fix the dish on my new apartment’s roof which they promptly did. I was informed that the charges for the same was Rs.175.00 which will be deducted from my account. I agreed for the same. But today after they fixed it, they send me an SMS that said Rs.350.00 has been deducted from my BIG TV account. I called up the customer service, spoke to a guy by the name Manoj. He says that Rs.175.00 was for fixing their junk on my roof and the other Rs. 175 surprisingly was for the change of address. Rs.175.00 for an address change??? REALLY?? I asked for the supervisor and this time Ms.Veena came on the line and admitted that it was a mistake. And then after almost 20+ minutes of arguing with her, she transferred the call to someone else which she said from the “higher” authority and he just kept saying that he just cannot refund the excess amount into my account. And Veena as well as the guy who I spoke later said that the actual charges are Rs.350.00 and admitted that it was a mistake, why would they want the customer pay for their mistakes?? WHY? And this isn’t the first time Reliance Big TV is messing up with me. At first they said the installation was free when I bought the subscription, after fixing it on the 5th floor while I was staying on the 1st floor, they charged me for the cables at Rs.12.00 per metre without informing me or whatsoever. I feel what these guys are doing is just plain daylight robbery and I cannot tolerate this anymore. I need your help to resolve this. I hope you would do what is necessary. Let me say this its not about the money but they way it was taken from me is simply not acceptable. As on 9/7/2013 I get another SMS saying Rs.375.00 has been deducted. Please help.
I want a complete reversal of whatever they have taken away from me and people who rob others should face its consequences.
