I bought a Reliance CDMA zero plan along with HTC handset from Reliance site. When checked with one of the executive and shop in Reliance they told CDMA is better than GSM. And, can opt for complete 24 months since the service quality is good. So, ordered the complete package on 07/01/2015. While ordering the phone+plan, I choose MNP for my old number and selected Bhubaneswar as the location from the drop-down in their site. When I got the phone, I reached to the reliance store and they took 7 days to activate the SIM and told me the plan activation is going to take a day. When I asked about internet speed, they told, I will be getting the HighSpeedData when my plan will get activated. Then I get a message that I got EVDO service activated on my mobile.
But, I was getting the same slow connection. After reaching to their offices and stores almost everyday, I got to know that EVDO service is not there in Bhubaneswar. So, at this point, I am unable to use any App in my smartphone and since I paid for complete 24months, they are telling is non-refundable. Everytime, I reach to them, they create Service Request at their end and after couple of days I get them complete without anything in my service. From 14th January to till date, I am just running behind them. They told me to reswipe and use a new SIM, checked my phone with HTC and finally they raise their hand telling, they can’t be able to do anything. With a smart phone which I paid for more that 32K and service I paid more than Rs800/- per month is just waste to send SMS and go for vice call. Not even able to open AppStore, downloading a app is just a dream. Now some of them are directly telling I can just open mobile sites because of slower speed, this is not designated for Smartphone. Since I bought both SmartPhone+ServicePlan and get them delivered to my address why they didn’t give me a hint, I am not going to get the speed in the city I am in. And, after running behind them for weeks, they just revert telling this is what you should get. Please help..
