Reliance Communication – failed to restore internet and fixed line connection since 15/3/12

Service: Broadband Internet and Fixed Line Communication, WFLCC50FC, Rs.500/- monthly rental Tariff Plan Account detail: Pradeep Jain, Bill Account No. 100000116578971 I have never defaulted for service received since Oct 2010 under the WFLCC50FC Rs.500/- monthly rental plan of Reliance Communication. Since 15/03/12 service got disrupted for which repeated complaints were lodged by me. I paid for the dues for month ending 19/03/12 in good faith but service was not been restored even after complaints registered with Nodal and Appellate Authority on 1/06/12. In July 2012 I was asked to clear all dues since 19/03/12 and only then service would be restored for both internet and telephone connection. I declined the offer as I had not received service and was not liable to pay, instead I had borne inconvenience due to inefficiency of Reliance in repairing and restoring of service. I had requested to terminate my account with ‘no dues’ certificate which the company declined to do and the matter has since been pending. They have continued to raise bill every month and harass me by threatening me into clearing the dues which now stand at Rs.5067/- inclusive of monthly rentals, fine and penalty etc outstanding since 19/03/12 a period during which no service was provided to me. The only waiver given to me pertaining to the case that too after 15 months since the incident occurred was of Rs.767 on 19/6/13 and I was asked to pay the rest of the amount in order to terminate the account. I hold high credit worthiness and have always made timely payment of my dues still I have been ill treated by the company. I demand compensation for service inefficiency, wrongful charges levied on me even though service not provided, harassment caused by dues retrieval department.

I want complete waiver of outstanding amount on my bill account, termination of account with no charges payable by me. A letter seeking my apology by the company and compensation of Rs 10,000 for business losses, difficulties faced by my children in educational requirements and my family being disconnected from telecommunication for 15 days and continued harassment by Reliance for illegitimate outstanding raised on me till date.
