Dear Madam/Sir, Reg-Lapsed Policy of no-1876915 of Reliance Life Insurance with an annual premium of Rs-1, 10000/- for a period of 15 years. With due respect It is to inform you that the aforesaid policy was presented by to me by two agents of RLI, Mr Mrinal Bhowmick (m.no-9163028020) Mr.Abhijan Das (m.no-9088264413) as a single premium policy with a maturity period of five years with a option of withdrawing after three years and at the same time with a cashback of Rs-8000/- out of which they have paid Rs-500/-instantly at the time of negotiation. The said policy bond was subsequently received by my wife since I was out of station. After returning I immediately contacted with the agents and asked for conversion of classical plan of fifteen year term to five year single premium policy as proposed at the time of negotiation and the remaining cash back amount. Several times I have tried to contact with both of them with an appeal for conversion of the said policy and for remaining cash-back. Without getting any positive response from them I emailed to the Reliance customer care on 16/05/11, 30/05/11, 01/06/11(copy lying with me) with same appeal, but they have alluded me expressing the regret for the inconvenience only. After that, from the address on the policy bond I came in contact with the Branch manager of salt lake branch with the same appeal, but with his intervention I got Rs-1000/- more cash back only. In the mean time one year has elapsed they reminded me through email for payment of Rs-1, 10000/- as premium and subsequently send a representative with a premium notice dt- 27/07/12.Finally I made another representation on 07/09/12(copy lying with me) to RLI through email expressing everything, but of no avail. I am a PSU servant of fifty-two years of age and unable to continue this policy anymore and so I request you to arrange for return of money with accrued interest. Thanking you, Yours Truly Rudra kishore Roy (M no-9748633811)
