Dear Sir,
I got a Reliance Life Insurance No. 16317796. I wanted to cancel this policy but some responsible persons are not sending my policy cancellation request to the further process.
The issues are –
1. I gave post dated cheque of dated 12th Feb 2010 to take this policy but my sales officer/manager change its date and clear it on dated 8th Feb 2010.
2. The policy issued on dated 12th Feb 2010 and dispatched to my home address. I got wrong confirmation SMS from reliance that “Your policy documents has sent through the Speed Post”.
3. I don’t know how but the policy documents returned back to head office even I am living with my family on given address.
4. I requested to the policy documents again to send on my home address or on my office address. The documents dispatched again on dated 15th March 2010 to East of Kailash Brach New Delhi.
5. Finally I got my policy documents on dated 3rd April 2010 through my sales advisor Mr. Avdesh Mishra.
6. After two days on dated 5th April 2010, I submitted all policy documents to Janakpuri New Delhi Branch to cancel this policy along with an application form (Form attached).
7. From the date 5th April 2010, I visited many time in branch and every time officer told me that your policy cancellation request is in under process.
8. After 24 days, I got a phone call that your policy cancellation request is not approved by branch Manager/RM and the officers returned back my documents on dated 29th April 2010.
I am requesting to Reliance to cancel this policy immediately and returned back all my money into my account. As I mentioned that the policy Free Look period started on dated 3rd April 2010 and I submitted request to cancel policy on dated 5th April 2010. Why the officers didn’t approve my cancellation request and didn’t send for further process?
