Here is my complain(No: 206534483) to Reliance on 26th July, 2013 : “Dear Sir, I’ve recharged my prepaid account(9391582840) with a tariff plan of Rs 92 on 27th Apr, 2013. Which makes all calls in India 30p/min and has validity of 180 days as mentioned on your instant recharge website. Now from yesterday i’m being charged excessively for calls so i checked with customer care and i was socked when he told that this plan has only 90 days validity and its expired now. He(Santosh) was pathetic to deal with and was insisting on saying that in your database plan is of 90 days. Customers don’t go and see your database before recharge right. Its not my fault that i opted for a plan information about which not updated on site and i should not be penalized for that. Moreover, He said that the plan is changed in April so how do you make sure customer is informed about that since you have wrong information even today about this – yes, it’s validity is still 180 days on your website as of 26th July, 2013. The resolution i expect in this case is that my plan’s validity should be made 180 days as promised on your site and immediately update site to avoid such confusion in future. Apart from this, my account should be credited back with the extra call charges deducted since expiry of plan as i don’t want to bear losses caused by your mistake. One more instance of pathetic service is that i’m receiving unwanted messages from number 3600 about the last call charge. I reported to customer care one week back and she said raised a ticket for this and promised that it would be resolved within 48 hours but i still receive annoying messages. I talked about this too to the same guy Santosh today and his response was so callous i felt very bad about reliance I’ve opted around 6 yrs back. He said that they are not going to stop these annoying messages and you are forced to receive these. I got a message asking whether my case was resolved or not from 59111 and i replied ‘NO’ as it wasn’t but it seems no one is bothered about whether its “YES” or “NO” and the messages just go to some black box. I don’t understand why you people send these messages to show that you care for customers but actually do not.
I want them to extend my validity to total 360 days from the day i recharged( 180 days as per my first recharge and additional 180 days i had to recharge because my plan was prematurely over and i was being charged as per normal charges and no one was responding to my complain). As per them its 180 days total( 90 days from first recharge and another 90 days from subsequent recharge of same tariff). Another thing i that i don’t want to receive unwanted messages after each call showing last call charges. They are not stopping this also. Apart from this i want they be punished for misleading customers and not addressing their issues. This wasted my time and gave me unnecessary tension.
