Dear Sir, I have been a subscriber of Tikona Internet connection since December 2013. Since the last month – April 2014, I have been facing sever issues with connectivity. The plan I have subscribed to is a unlimited 4MBPS plan. Time and again, I have been in touch with the customer care, appellant authority regarding the issue. Upto this date, the issue persists and I am unable to use the service as claimed by the company. I was told that a waiver would be raised because of the same but when I got the bill for this month, I was charged the amount as per plan. Not only is the issue persisting but I have to pay for a non-functional internet connection toward the company.
As a result of this, I have been unable to access internet leading to delay in all my work. This has caused a lot of problems in the communication and have decreased my overall productivity. As a avid user of the internet, I have to be able to send emails and reply to the timely in-order to facilitate progress in my work and personal level. With an unstable internet connection, this has become a nightmare.
Not only that, I have been charged unlawfully for problems in network end by the company. When contacted the company regarding the same, they have told me that a waiver for Rs. 199 will be provided in the next bill generated. How can a waiver of the same amount be acceptable for a downtime of more than 10 days? Also, how can the same be waived in the next bill for the coming months and not when the problem was faced? This is a deficiency in service on behalf of Tikona. I want the billing errors to be fixed with an apology and suitable compensation from the company for such deficiency in service. I come to your esteemed forum for a resolution of this dispute.
