I have bought an Samsung LED from Thailand 2years back. In August suddenly the LED was not working. I have called the service centre and they have made a visit. In the Visit I was told that apart from parts cost, I will have to pay a service charge of Rs 5000+taxes. This is because the LED has been bought from outside India. For LED bought India the service charge id Rs 500+taxes. From last two month I have been fighting with Samsung for this as this is an unethical practice at their end. I have also taken this matter to Samsung CEO office but I was told that you have to Pay Rs 5000 as this policy has come up this year only for international TV. On 4th October 2013 I have got it done and paid Rs 5000 as service charge.
I want the extra service charge paid I.e. RS 5000 back and also some sort of penalty to Samsung on implementing such unethical practice followed. How can same brand have two policies. Please help me in this. Infact for money paid they have not given me a proper bill, they have given me a estimate.
