Dear Sir, Our washing machine was picked up by the Samsung ASC (GTechno) personnel in Feb’2013 with a promise to do chemical treatment by giving a acknowledgement to my family members in my absence. A few days later the service centre personnel called us and asked us to visit the service centre as the total repair cost would be around Rs.6000+. Hence I had made a visit to the service centre personally and said that due to financial constrains it would take quite a bit of time and said that I would get back to him after discussing the cost of the repair. Again I had approached the service centre in December’13 and gave my consent to repair the machine & deliver it to my residence. Then I was intimated by Mr.Praveen at GTechno that there is a change in the management at GTechno and they do not have our washing machine at the service centre and asked me for time to trace it as he said any machine unclaimed for more than 3 months would be sent to Chennai warehouse of “Samsung Corporation” and had also requested to get the acknowledgement issued to us at the time of pick-up of the washing machine from our residence. I came back to my residence and tried to locate the said job sheet / work sheet which is untraceable. Now the Samsung Customer Care as well as the Samsung ASC “GTechno” are saying that they do not have my washing machine as per their records and are asking to get the job sheet / work sheet to trace the machine. Sir, I acknowledge that I had lost my copy of acknowledgement or Job sheet / work sheet and so is it fair on the Samsung part or its ASC to deprive us of our washing machine. As an organization doesn’t the Samsung or its ASC (GTechno)have the copy of the same acknowledgement issued to us, cannot they look into their records and locate the machine. Sir, since the then I have been following up with the ASC, Samsung Customer Care on phone, chat & E-mail but nothing has been transpired & they say that without the document they cannot locate the machine. Sir, I am of the belief that I am being penalised heavily just for losing a document proof of pick-up and the Samsung Corporation & its ASC (GTechno) are taking umbrage under this lapse on my part and are not returning my washing machine to me.
