Sanjay Cable Net – Poor Service

The Cable Service provider M/s Sanjay Cable Net at Shop No. 4, Princes Park Mess, ND -1, refuses to provide me Manoranjan Package which is the base package. I have been subscribing this pack since 2013. The service provider insists that I take a higher value package for Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty) which is not my requirement. He threatens to stop my cable connection unless I pay for a higher package (of Rs. 250/) which is almost double my present package charge (Rs.135/-). The cable staff who comes to collect payment behaves rudely. He also does not provide any receipt although payment including service tax is collected every month. I have already spoken to them over phone but without any positive outcome.

If I am forced to pay higher charges, I’ll have to pay Rs.115/- extra every month right now, although I do not require those channels. The amount will further increase once the new revised service tax rate is implemented. Further, the government also losses, if the payment collected is not shown as income, in the form of income tax and service tax, as no receipts are given.

Please ensure that the cable service provider M/s Sanjay Cable Net: 1. provides me the base Manoranjan package that I’have been subscribing since 2013 2. stops forcing me to take a higher value pack as it will give him more profit and I’ll incur monetary loss for no benefits 3. provides me proper receipt for the payment taken from me 4. the staff behaves properly and does not behave rudely and stops threatening to snap connection
