I have taken education loan under STAFF LOAN facility for engineering(B.E) in 2003, I have completed my course and currently working in Bank of Baroda as Probationary Officer, i am regularly paying my installment.. I have a complaint regarding high interest applied on my education loan i.e 14.25% since it has started. I have made complaint through message UNHAPPY on oct 2012 and they have changed the interest rate to 8.00% from Oct 2012. But the excess interest which has been charged earlier on my education loan from 2003 to 2012 is not corrected till date, which should be credited in my loan account. I also want to inform you that my father is an officer in state bank of India and we are continuously requesting the branch on personal level to change the interest rate and to credit the difference amount in loan account from past one year but they are not responding. interest rate is also changed through message UNHAPPY. because branch manager was not listening to our complaint. Being a staff Family member i am facing such difficulties, so i had no other option to complain directly to you. my brother and sister are also facing the same problem, for your information my brother is a DOCTOR (MD) and my sister is a professor (M TECH) and both of them have also taken education loan in sbi. presently our loan accounts are in GANJ BASODA branch 30076. so please adjust the excess interest charged and credit it in our loan accounts. Excess interest amount charged at public interest rate till October-2012 should be reversed back in the account & should be deducted from the outstanding amount
