With due respect it is stated that Mr. Lakhwinder Singh a SBI life agent having code number 15728154 had obliged me to have a SBI life insurance policy. I had taken SBI Life Horizone-II Policy Number 23029794010 under proposal number 23-6569726 w.e.f 16.06.2008 with registered Office of SBI at Choti Bara Dari, Patiala for a term of 16 years. As per this policy I have to pay a quarterly payment of Rs.3000.00 which I am regularly paying my payment to your agent against which he has issued me receipt also. During the Month of March this year (2013) myself had made a request to Mr. Lakhwinder Singh to arrange to issue me a certificate of premium deposited by myself with SBI Life for the financial year 2012-13 so that I could utilize it as saving proof for Income Tax purpose. Mr. Lakhwinder Singh had issued me a certificate under the SBI Life seal. On verification, it has brought to my notice vide E-mail dated 22/03/2013 that no payment has been made in my account after 2009 and my policy is in lapse status despite I was paying premium regularly through your agent. I had discussed with Mr. Lakhwinder Singh and Mr. Sanjeev Singla the reason of lapse status of my policy. They told that it will be activated soon as there is some problem at their end. On dated 13.03.2013 myself received a message from SBI that a cheque of Rs.45000.00 deposited in favuor of my Policy Number 23029794010 by SBI-Patiala having signature of Mr. Davinder Singh as a premium w.e.f. June 2009 and next day bank sent me another message that the cheque number 237384 dated 13.03.2013 of Rs. 45000/- deposited has been dishonored by the bank. Both messages were conveyed to Mr. Lakhwinder Singh & Mr. Sanjiv Singla of SBI Life Insurance- Patiala but they could not give me satisfied reply and my policy once again went in lapse status. Now I feel myself cheated by your agent as I got this policy just to belief in the name of SBI. Despite deposition my installment timely, my policy has went in lapse status. This has resulted me not only financial loss of the earnest money I had saved for my future but mental harassment also. Mr. Lakhwinder Singh also cheated to me by promising me during the time of policy that after 5 years approx. 30% amount (as per market value) will be returned back to me from the total amount deposited in my policy on Money back basis but there are no such type of term in my policy to pay /returned premium amount. In view of the above mentioned facts it may please be seen that I have been cheated by the agent of SBI Life and such type of agents are bringing bad name to your organization. They are not only cheating innocent people but also spoiling the name of renowned SBI Life . You are therefore requested to take necessary action against such persons. If these people are left spare or your organization hesitates then there is 100% possibility of increasing the number of such type of cases in future which is not a good sign of a healthy organization.
