The State Bank of India in its Lakshmi Nagar, New Delhi branch has refused to accept deposit in the Savings Bank Account stating that they are not accepting deposit below Rs. 10000 and they have to be deposited through Mobile Eko Points only. The Eko points charge a huge commission in case of such deposits of upto Rs. 100 in case of deposits and the practice is completely illegal. Kindly look into the issue and ensure that the customer is not forced to spend additional amounts to deposit his hard earned money.
