I had bought a Skoda Rapid Car (HR 26BR 1833) on March 07, 2012 from Fahrenheit Automobiles, Motinagar, New Delhi (the dealer). I paid Rs 8,99,673 at the time of buying car. I have receipts of all amount paid to Fahrenheit Automobiles. I paid such amount for Skoda Rapid Car, RTO charges, insurance and Music stereo system. 1. I requested invoice for the car sold but they denied by saying that they will provide after issue of number. After one year they provide the invoice of Rs 829,000 only which is an ex-showroom price only. I want the invoice of full value of the amount paid. 2. As the car does not come with factory fitted music-system, a Music Stereo system along with speakers was fitted by dealer but they didn’t provide any manual, warranty card and list of items in sales-package. Few things (e.g. Bluetooth) in the Music-system were missing. When I contacted at the show-room after 2-3 days, they told that these things are not available and will be available only at extra-payment. Such things are integral part of the stereo and are not sold separately in the market. I need the details of all such sales-package item, warranty card and user manual of the stereo and the speakers and also all the items for which I paid. 3. The vehicle carries a warranty of two years from the date of purchase. After 15 months, there was a problem in front brakes. They replaced Brake-Disc and brake-pad. They charged for all items and also charged labour expenses on it. They totally charged Rs 9,010 in which Rs 2,865 is for labour and Rs 1,600 + (VAT Rs 200) for brake-pad. Relevant extracts of the warranty card: “Through its authorized dealers SKODA provides 2 years warranty for new vehicles from the date of sale with no mileage limit. The warranty covers repair or exchange of any part there of which needs replacement or repair for any reason of defective workmanship or defective components in order to restore the vehicle to original manufacturer specifications subject to terms and conditions laid down in this booklet. Defect of bulbs, wiper blades, brake disc, brake lining can be within six months or 10000 Kms whichever comes first worked on as defective workmanship or defective material. After above indicated limits considered as natural wear & tear and cannot be covered under warranty.” So as per warranty terms & conditions, brake-pads do not come under the clause of six-month warranty and covered by two years warranty. The clause of six month warranty exclusively specifies items which comes under this clause and does not use words “etc, similar/ related items”. As the vehicle covered in warranty, they cannot charge for labour. They can charge only for replacement of parts which does not come under warranty. I want to Skoda Company and Fahrenheit Automobiles to return the excess amount charged. 4. At the time of sale of vehicle, Skoda car advertise that the vehicle gives a mileage of 20.5 KMPL but my vehicle does not give so much mileage. I got the test

1. Invoice of full value 2. All items of sales package, Warranty card, user manual of stero-system 3. Rs 2865 + 1600 + taxes on it comes to Rs 4700 Approx. for the additional amount charged for vehicle covered in warranty 4. Rs 2000 for legal expenses paid for serving legal notice, Rs 5000 for 5-6 unnecessary trips made to dealer showroom and Rs 10,000 for unnecessary waste of time and efforts. 5. Rs 200,000 for the extra fuel expenses because of faulty product (Manufacturing fault) sold. 40% low fuel efficiency observed.
