SnapDeal – Delivered wrong product not willing to replace it now

I had ordered “Pigeon Black Line Square 2 Burner SS Gas Stove” on 20/12/2014 at snapdeal.com, however on 26/12/2014, I was delivered wrong product – “Pigeon Tango”. The paper/invoice that is put on top of the shipped box, mentions the product as “Pigeon Black Line Square 2 Burner SS Gas Stove” however the product shipped inside is “Pigeon Tango”. This means it is Not a mistake but purposely done. My Order # is 4079972719. Similar thing I read on internet in review comments, then I thought may be it was a mistake. However now I realize it was not a mistake by the retailer, they purposely did it. I have been charged for a high price product and delivered a low price product. I waited 6 days for the product to arrive. The Burners of this stove are tiled towards one side. So not only snapdeal.com has delivered me wrong product but it is also faulty. The same was communicated to snapdeal.com on 27/12/2014 and 29/12/2014 however snapdeal refuses to replace the product with the correct product. Providing the excuse that the product is not in the stock. Procuring product from seller is snapdeal’s responsibility. How can snapdeal penalize the customer for the seller not having the stock. If the seller was not having the stock, snapdeal web portal should not display such sellers. By not giving the product to the customer, even after he has paid the agreed upon amount (Rs.2390/-), isn’t snapdeal violating the Companies Act and the e-business laws? I would request snapdeal to Kindly send me the correct product – “Pigeon Black Line Square 2 Burner SS Gas Stove” WITHOUT any defects/faults, which I have ordered and also compensate me appropriately for the delay in the process and mental harassment I have gone through because of this. I have attached all the relevant proofs/photos in this communication, of the product that has been delivered to me, the one that I ordered, and the defects in the wrong product.

I would request snapdeal to Kindly send me the correct product – “Pigeon Black Line Square 2 Burner SS Gas Stove” WITHOUT any defects/faults, which I have ordered and also compensate me appropriately for the delay in the process and mental harassment I have gone through because of this. I would also request the Ministry of Consumer affairs, Govt. of India, to look into this matter, and if possible setup a commission of inquiry on processes followed by the e-commerence portals in India, I am ready to co-operate and present my case to the commission whenever asked to do so.
