I ordered a BenQ Projector worth Rs.28777 (plus additional discount of 3% under a special offer) from the Snapdeal website online with Cash on Delivery option on 23rd December 2013 vide Order No: 1536112315. I was given an assured Delivery Date of 25th December 2013, which was later changed to 27th December, and then further again changed to 28th December. On the 29th, I called the consumer support center of Snapdeal, where at first I was assured that my delivery would be made in another day. When that did not happen, I called their Support Center again on 31st, when I was informed that the product had been returned to the seller by the Courier Company (mentioned as Bluedart) and hence the order had been cancelled. After repeated calls, emails (most of which remain unanswered to date) and complaints (request #4541026, #4530318) on their website, I was told to place the order again. When I now checked the product catalog on the website, the same product costs Rs.32000. Since the previous order was completed and all requirements were fulfilled from my side well within the time span wherein the previous price was applicable, and the Courier Company or Snapdeal never contacted me before cancelling my order, I must not be made to pay an extra Rs.4000 for a mix up which had no involvement from my side. It is completely unreasonable for a company of such accord to cancel my order not only without asking me, but even not having the courtesy to inform me by themselves so that I could make arrangements for a makeshift setup (since I had to use the products for a party on New Years Eve), and extremely harassing too, as the company executives now refuse to take any responsibility for this mess. The company has no sense of liability at all, whatsoever. I was kept waiting for 10 days for a delivery that was assured to be, made in only 3 days. And I waited patiently as directed, or rather kept in the dark to be finally treated the way I have been
I want the products to be delivered at the price at which I booked them and an assurance that such harassing service or cheap gimmicks will not be played out on me for my further orders (if any).
