I have purchased 17 items from SNAPDEAL.COM on 09-Dec-2014 whose Order number is :- 3893427357. I received the confirmation e-mail for same that my order is placed. But on Wed 12/10/14 11:15 PM I received 12 email from ccAvenue that your Order Refund has been processed by ccAvenue which I checked on 11 December and try to contact the customer care of SNAPDEAL.
Day -1 : 11/12/14 —> I called SNAPDEAL customer care and checked out why out of 17 orders 12 orders has been cancelled so they gave me a reason “due to the product unavailability” then I checked on SNAPDEAL website that the product is still available, only difference was we purchased in 90% discount and currently it is on 50% discount. Second time I called back to clear this availability issue, then they gave me a reason of technical Glitch that the product wont be delivered to the address mentioned So I requested them if that’s the concern I am okay to change the delivery location as well (Previously also I have purchased from SNAPDEAL but never face product delivery problem) Due to dissatisfactory answers I request to foward the call to floor-supervisor or any senior manager so they assured us for a call back which unfortunately never happened.
Third Time I called back again and they gave me a new reason due to the pricing issue your product has been cancelled. Then finally after repeated attempts I was successful to talk to the floor-supervisor Mr. Tarun Soni who unfortunately was not ready to listen me and he keeps on talking about the company policy and was EXTREMELY RUDE. He said that according to company policy we are eligible to cancel your order at any point of time. Then I gone through your website to cross check the Company Policy and I found out that before cancellation you will contact the client but that never happened : “We may put additional checks and verifications or seek more information before accepting any order. We will contact you if all or a part of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order.” and after his Rude and Fail attempt to give me a satisfactory answer he assured me a call-back from Senior Management next day and I am very sorry to say that after all false commitment I never received a call till now. Day -2 : 12/12/14 —> Today again I received a mail that out of remaining 5 orders my 4 orders has been cancelled. I again called your customer care and again they come up with the unavailability of the product. I request him to transfer the call to floor-supervisor but he said that its not possible now you can call after half an hour. Then I requested for a call back unfortunately this time also it was a false commitment from your Customer Service. Second time I again called up and the reason was same due to price glitch.
I want my 17 Order to be delivered to my home address at the same price and this should stand as a testimony to other online shoppers on the business processes at SnapDeal.
