sonic VA703m monitor – Refusal to honor warranty and poor support

I have a viewsonic VA703m monitor (serial #QAP064740061) which was bought around 29-jan-2007. I had placed a call in 2009-December, (2nd or 3rd week) regarding the problem in my monitor as there was no display in the monitor. The service engineer asked me to put in a new display cable and call back if problem was not solved. I was able to check this only on 30-Jan-2010 as I live in a suburb and had to go to the city to buy the cable. The new cable did not help in fixing the problem. When I called the support on 30-Jan-2010, I was told that the monitor is out of warranty from 30-Jan-2010 and they could not cover the repair. I insisted that it is an old complaint and demanded to talk to a supervisor. They said that supervisor was busy and they would pass on my telephone numbers to Mr. Sushil Kaul, the supervisor. I have tried reaching Sushil Kaul again and have got the same response that Sushil is not available and he would call back. I was also asked by the support engineer to send an email, which I did on Jan-30-2010 for which I got a standard response saying monitor is out-of-warranty. I responded explaining the situation and there has been no responses to my mail since then. I am unable to get this monitor repaired outside at my own cost as the parts are not available and not supported by Viewsonic service centers.
