Sony India – Not Replacing Product Under Warranty

I bought my phone on 26th October 2013. My phone is not being replaced under warranty though it is in the warranty period. The company says that since my device has cosmetic damage it cannot be considered under its accidental damage policy. My phone’s (Xperia Z) side glass is coming unglued. I have nothing to do with it since the glue used by sony is wearing off. But Sony is claiming that it is my fault and discarding my device as out of warranty. The are not ready to repair the device. As a result, they are charging me 15,495 rupees for a new device. Though my device is under warranty and easily replaceable/repairable , they are not providing any remedy. They are imposing hideous policies on to the customer. Their assurance of one year warranty is completely void and fake. My phone was in the service centre for two weeks without under going any repairs and was used by the people at the service centre as my phone had pictures of some other product when I received it. There by failing to preserve the customers privacy. I don’t know what data has been stolen from my phone.
