I had given my phone SONY XPERIA P LT22i for battery replacement to Service Center : Ankur Care Centre, Civil Lines, Agra, U.P. (+919412254152), an authorized service censer of Sony. Due to complete battery drainage, my phone was not getting powered on. JOB Number : W114061603590 Phone IMEI Number : 352265054217834 16 June 2014: At the initial check, I was told that the battery needs to be replaced, due to its usual drainage with time. Since the mobile phone consists an inbuilt battery and the new battery was not in stock, I was asked to deposit my phone. I was told that I will be informed of the estimate till evening 5:30 PM. In the evening, I was told that my phone battery is not working, and my motherboard is also faulty. Before deposition of my phone, I had worked with it properly and it switched off after battery draining. There was no such issue experienced by me. I was hence told a total estimate of approximately Rs. 10000. I asked them not to repair my phone. 18 June 2014: I went to the service centre to ask for the issue pertaining to the device. They told me the same problem again, fault in motherboard, and battery drained, and asked to replace both parts. I forcibly demanded to examine my handset before carrying out the repair procedure. After discussions, I was shown my device with manually damaged battery, a protruding wire out of which was broken, and the motherboard opened. I hence questioned the service centre officials about the damage, and asked them to call their senior in charges for discussion. In an ill behaviour, I was told that in such a way, my phone cannot be repaired, and that I must take it back. Seeing no helpful conditions, I asked them to pack my phone. In quick packing, they further damaged the top interlocking cap. I paid the basic inspection amount, took back and photo started the job sheet before submitting it for future references, and asked for a receipt of the deposited amount.
