I purchased a 42” Sony LED TV Model No.KLV 42EX410, one and half year back through my friend ref. We were extremely happy with visual features and experienced high quality picture in Sony brand. Now we are facing the problem with the screen.When we are trying to switch it on it displays only sony logo for 2 seconds then turning off automatically. When we contacted the customer care,complaint no.015941767.They asked to bring the tv to service centre after inspecting they said there is problem with panel,It might be manufacturing defect also and even said to replace that. They quoted the price for new panes is around Rs.22,000/-. How come this happened ? I have lot of belief in sony brand value.Is life of a LED Panel is 1 1/2 year?? We are a middle class family, we checked lot of things before buying it.Now just after 1 1/2 year only we have to pay almost 40% of the tv value to repair it. How can a middle class family like us will afford this? what we can say about the brand sony to our near and dear? For you it might be just a TV but for us it is a investment for 10 years of our lifes. Please look into this issue and do what the best you can help us to sort it out.
