SONY mobiles – High charges for mobile repair

Sir / Ma’am I am a customer of SONY mobiles. I got a Xperia smart phone costing 37,000 rupee on January 2013. Now its nearly ten months of usage and i found the screen broken a few days back while i took my phone for speaking and i was not able to use the phone further. Since it was not even a percent of my fault in handling the phone. I went to the customer care who took the phone and kept for a week and replied me that the damage was physically caused and they need Rs.17000 to repair that. For no fault of mine am asked to pay 50% of the cost of the mobile. I went through SONY support forum which showed many such persons who experienced such things.. For no fault of customer they are put into mental and physical stress and asked to pay huge sum to repair a MANUFACTURE DEFECT. I am under severe stress for past 15- 20 days and would like to bring to your notice. As i am working in a hospital not able to move around and i found this portal will provide me some sort of solution for the problem

To provide a solution for the cracked screen Need either a replacement or to provide a new screen free of cost
