We were supposed to travel by flight no SG2227 Bhopal Delhi flight on 22nd Oct 2013. The flight got cancelled however neither the airlines nor the travel agent(makemytrip.com) informed us neother thrpough phone or email. As a result we had unnecessary harrasment as well as financial loss owing to cancelation of connecting international flight from Delhi to Muscat causing us net loss of Rs 45000, please help us get a appropriate compensation for the loss incurred.

Rs 45000, cancelled Oman air Delhi Muscat flight booking details : flight no : WY 246 Date of travel: 22 Oct 2013 Reservation code : TDGXNI Ticket amount : Omani Rial 420 Net loss : Rs 45000 (90% of booking amount) Please find attached last email from the travel agent confirming the booking status as of 20th Oct post which no canclation intimation was received.
