State Bank of Patiala has been charging hefty amount in the name of penalties and various other charges. Though some of these are justified, but most are not justified. When we approach bank, after multiple requests they provided heads under which these charges have been booked, but they failed to give any further details especially related to penalties. We even asked them to let us know how to prevent such penalties in future if these are due to our mistake, but they did not help and told us to do whatever we can and bank will neither refund for these nor will provide any further details. Last response received from bank is attached with this. There have been similar charges post this response also.

Bank should have a detailed discussion on the charges and refund should be provided where charges have been booked without prior information or where there is no fault of us. We also want bank to co-operate with us to explain how these charges can be minimized or not booked in future transactions.
