We had purchased a Centre Table from Classic Furniture, located at Sheetal Nadar, Mira Road – East, Dist: Thane – 401107 on night ofthe 24th October 09 approx at 9.30 p.m.

This centre table was purchased for Rs. 3500/- on an assurance that it was a durable product and will last long.

Within seven days of purchase we had to log a complaint with the furniture shopwala. As the propietor was not in his other person took the complaint and assured us that he will send some one to mend it. This co0mplaint was repeated twice.

NATURE OF COMPLAINT

The complaint was that the sunmica was comming out and that the table itself was comming out from its several joints. The inside is also not of wood / plywood and the whole product is a fake of wood or teak wood. If any weight is put on the table the whole table capsises to one side. even moving the table for cleaning purpose i.e cleaning the floor or the table itself is very Treacherous / dangerous as the table may collaspe.

Even after 1 month and 19 days of complaint the furniturewala refuses to entertain the complain and dares us to do what ever we can.
