I have been to SUBWAY restaurant at the above mentioned address on 08-08-2013 and have ordered some food. One of the items (PEPPORONI TOASTIES) has been advertised in the store as Rs. 40 + taxes. But I was charged Rs. 42.86 + taxes. When I asked the store manager/clerk he said the amount (Rs. 42.86 includes the taxes). He tried to explain but did not have a definite answer. When I tried to explain him that I’m being charged extra, he was so arrogant and said that is how the system is programmed and I had to accept it. I’ve been to that place so many times in the past, but never realized or paid attention to my bill as it is always crowded.

I want the authorities to audit the accounts of this food joint and take stringent action if found guilty. At the least such joints (cheating their customers with false charges) must be closed and should not be allotted permissions to open in the future.
