I purchased one Swift Dzire VXI from Rani Motors Shillong on 19/08/14. I got only 1(one) Key subject to handing over the another Key after sanction of Bank Loan. The Bank Loan was sanctioned and payment released to the Dealer on 30/08/14. After that I am requesting the Sales Representative (Mr.Amit Rizel) so many times to hand over the Key over phone. On 22/09/2014 I visited Maruti Show Room and requested to hand over the 2nd Key. bot informed me that they are facing Key identification problem. After so many phone call from me they sent one email to me with a clarification letter mentioning that the key has been broken and an apology letter mentioning that the key has been damaged. And they ordered for the key. As per their intimation I visited their Show Room on 22/10/14 to collect the key, but the key did not match with my car. After that I am contacting Rani Motors and Maruti Customer Care through email and over phone. But I feel they are avoiding me.
The damaged or broken key may be shown to me. Why they sold me that vehicle by cheating me? Proper duplicate key with remote lock/unlock button may please be provided at an early with a compensation of my mental harassment. Other wise the vehicle may please be taken back.
