Purchased food item TOCO-BELL (ct m chx)for Rs.42. for which i was charged both vat rs.5.25 and service tax rs.2.08 @12.5% and 4.944% respectively whereas as per the norms i should be paid only service tax.
i want my money back and don’t want them to stop this practice. govt would not deny tax if you collect it and pay in treasurer but what about law.
