I went to Sony Center Rashbehari Avenue Kolkata on 15th May, 2014 and asked for Sony Xperia SP model for purchasing. The salesman told me that the cost will be Rs 18,200. I asked him to bring it. In the meantime, I asked about the price of SP model at Sony Center Ultadanga Kolkata and they informed me that the price was Rs 18,990/-. I found it quite suspicious as how there could be such a huge price difference in two Sony Centers. I waited for the salesman to arrive but he was taking a long time to come.

I found him at the far end of the shop, talking with someone (seemed to be of managerial level). I went straight to him, and to my surprise, I found him removing the free tag of Mobile Case from the mobile carton cover. Also, two of the seals were already removed. I asked him what it is about, and he said that he was checking the price. I could easily understand that it was not so as the price was mentioned somewhere else. I told him then and there to keep the mobile packet with him. I came to Ultadanga Center and bought the SP mobile for Rs 18,990/-. What surprised me and which I found nefarious was how the other person, likely to be somebody from management, could be a party to the act of criminality, especially in a Sony Center itself.
