Tata Indicom – misguided to prepaid connection did not cancel my connection

I had purchased a post paid card from tata docomo, which I stopped using afterwards. So I had cleared all the dues and requested them to close the connection, but docomo people misguided me that I can convert it to prepaid connection and the dealer would deny the same thing. I visited them many times and also dropped emails to close the connection or convert it. I have proof for those emails. Now, after few months they have started sending me messages that I will face legal consequences.

I would like to have some reply from tata docomo that why they did not cancel my connection after those emails. Also, I do not wish to receive messages from them for the same. If this thing continues in future, I would like to have compensation for mental harassment.
