Dear Sir/Madam,
I had booked a Nano LX on paying initial Booking Amount of Rs.10,000/= through Wasan Motors Pvt. Limited
Showroom, Borivali (East), Mumbai, vide their Receipt No. NIL dated April 22, 2013. Copy of the same attached for your reference. Unfortunately due to some personal problem faced due to the sales representative Ms. Sunita Gavas and financial problem, I was compelled to cancel that car booking.
The sales representative, Ms. Sunita Gawas said: (1) She can’t refund the Booking Amount Rs.10,000/- (2) The cancellation fee would be Rs.10,000/= after it is booked (3) I cannot cancel the car booking. (4) I have to purchase the car.
Please note, at the time of the booking or paying the booking amount, I was not told about this. Had I been told, in the first place, I wouldn’t have given Rs.10,000/= as booking amount. I would have given a smaller amount or refuse to purchase one.
I would like to know whether it is right from their side to refuse the total booking amount of Rs.10000/- to the customer and avoid the refund of the car which I haven’t purchased/touched yet.
I wanted to buy NANO LX car to claim Car Allowance not for status. I lost interest in purchasing it as I had been badly disturbed by the sales representative at work, by her frequent calls and SMS messages which were disturbing me and my colleagues. Above all, because of her attitude of sitting on my head.
I am ordinary salaried person. Arranging funds for down payment or car loan takes time. But this lady was impatient. She wanted to finish the deal within that week, that same month to complete her target or for reasons best known to her. I can understand; but in the bargain I was suffering at this end. She had even held my Voter’s ID Card thinking I would come back for the car. I got my Voter’s ID finally on May 31, 2013, through Consumer Guidance help.
I wanted to buy a car. I didn’t want to buy headache or mental torture along with it. By booking NANO LX, for the last two and half months, I have faced this mental harassment of pressure from the sales representative due to which I am suffering from severe acidity and high blood pressure problem too.
I had written to M/s. Wasan Motors regarding the refund of Rs.10,000/- mentioned above. Till date I have received no reply from them.
Under circumstances, I now request you to kindly refund me the car booking amount of Rs.10,000/- at the earliest and oblige.
