Dear Sir/Ma’m, I am a Tata Sky subscriber with subscriber id 1060342159. In November 2013, I got a call from offer department of Tata Sky saying that my acount was to expire in 24 hours and if I recharged with Rs. 2450/- I will get my pack for one full year. The caller told me he will call me back. When I logged in, I found that the my account had more than 48 hours to expire. This led me to doubt the caller. So next day,I made a call to call center and they confirmed that such calls are indeed made by their offer department. When Tata Sky rep called back, I told him that I will recharge before expiry and he said it was acceptable to them as long as I recharged before expiry of the account. He again said that he will call back. Accordingly,I recharged the account before expiry with Rs.2450/-. Later, in January when I checked the validity it showed till 18May14 only instead of 16Nov14. On query I was told that I should have called up after recharge. At no point of time was I told that it is mandatory for me to call back for the activation of offer. I did exactly as per the offer conveyed to me. On further correspondence, I was told that I did not recharge within specified time. It is an incorrect allegation. I fly often and also there is a weak signal in my area. So there is a likelihood of missing out calls. Had it been conveyed that it is mandatory to call back/ receive a call, I would have done that.I will not pay money and then cause a loss to myself. Tata Sky has reneged on the promise.
I want Tata Sky to honour its promise and extend the validity as per original offer
