Tata Sky – unjustified payment schedule

After repeated attempts, on 05-MAR-2014 I got my Tata Sky device installed followed by account activation and started using the same. I was told that the first month’s advance is already taken with the device cost. Upon completion of a month, on 05-APR-2014 I signed into the mytatasky portal (www.mytatasky.com) to recharge for the next month. I noticed in the portal that my current package (GRAND SPORTS) subscription costs Rs. 250/- on a monthly basis (please find the attached screenshot) and I also checked that my account balance then was around minus 8 (eight) rupees. So I recharged for Rs. 260/- (so that it comes to Rs. 250/- after getting adjusted with negative account balance) in order to continue the same package for one more month. It had been going smooth until I got the notification to pay again on 17-APR-2014. It left me surprised. I contacted Tata Sky helpdesk text support team. With long waiting I conveyed to them my concern and lodged complaint for unexpected payment schedule. But I had to contact the helpdesk team (voice support this time) again to convey my issue. They assured a call back and resolution from the back end team. Accordingly I received call from the backend team which ended abruptly. After that I wrote an email to tata sky helpdesk which got me a call back again. This time I tried to convey what happened but looked like they were hellbent on making me pay without paying heed to what I had to say. I had to write again to the helpdesk which got me another call back and this time I clearly explained that the new revised rate for my current package was/is not updated in mytatasky portal which is a flaw in the system but the fellow Representative on phone was suggesting me to go the dealer without trying to understand my valid point. She even told me that I should have not believed what was there in the portal and should have called the customer care to get the right information. Does it mean that the information put in the mytatasky portal is different from what really exists ? If things are not properly updated, the customer cannot made suffered for this.

I want continued service for a month on the GRAND SPORTS package HD. I want compensation for this harassment in monetary terms or in terms of free service from Tata Sky.
