i had purchased bicycle (montra rock 1.1 blue color manufactured by TI cycles of india) from RR cycles on 13-09-2014. within 1 week i.e on 20-09-2014, rear wheel gear shifting mechanism broke off & dealer says it happened because of my fault in shifting gears. There are no particular guidelines on usage of the gears & no warranty on any part except bicycle frame(limited)

The company should clearly provide guidelines in their user manual as to how to shift/change the gears so that consumers are not taken for a ride. Also in this case i would also want the manufacturer to repair at free of cost.
