I am Ramkumar from Chennai, a disappointed customer of Tikona services and their customer care executives. (My user id is 1109231595 for reference)I had taken broadband service from Tikona on 14th October paying subscription for 3 months in advance as per their plan (Rs.2950= Rs699x3months+ installation of Rs.500+service tax).After a months time, I had called their customer care and requested to temporarily keep my account under hold until my request to activate again as my computer was out of order and I would be out of station. They said it would not be possible as my account was less than 3 months old. I got irritated by this response and told them to disconnect my account permanently if they are not able to put my account under hold temporarily for the time. Finally I got a call from one of your executives (Name forgotten) and informed me that since I was a precious customer, they would consider my request and agreed to put my account under safe custody. Till date I have not got any confirmation for this. Now I have received a bill even before completing 3months of my subscription, in which my safe custody request was not considered at all and to my shock, it has been charged for the billing cycle in advance even before completing the billing cycle with penalty due date and asking me to pay Rs.282 for the month (From 26 Dec’13 to 25th Jan’14 in advance).I have never seen a post paid service connection billing in advance for the service billing cycle. When checked with customer care today, the so called customer care executive from billing section started telling the same old story of impossible to put my account under safe custody before 90 days. Then I had asked to connect with the billing supervisor and ended hearing the same story again and again Then how come the customer care executive called me and confirmed the status of safe custody of my account?? Am I lying? How can they charge a post paid customer for the advance billing cycle with a penalty due date for the period that is yet to come?
The amount reversal for the unconsumed period as per their promise and the bill amount shall be collected post billing cycle.
