Tikona – Harassing for undue payment

Respected Sir/Madam, I would like to bring it to the notice of this forum that Tikona Digital Networks has been harassing me with regard to the payment of Rs.873 which I am not liable to pay to at all. This is because I haven’t been using their services for the month of October and November. Although I paid the bill for the month of October and applied for disconnection in the same month itself on 21st October. They assured me that after I receive a call form their Customer support for “Reason of Disconnection”, the service will be disconnected. Their Customer care executives kept harassing me to continue with their services when I made it very clear to them every time that i wasn’t interested. Inspite of asking for disconnection through phone as well as emails it took tikona well over two weeks to disconnect my services and now they have the audacity to ask me to pay the bill for the month of November as well. I have the disconnection request and date to produce as evidence. Also, I had mentioned that their belongings of the adapter and the Ethernet cable would be gladly returned by me once their representative or engineer calls me and asks for collection the very same day. I haven’t received any call from their engineer – Promod/domnic09222218139/922228108 which they mentioned in the e-mail. On the 12th of December they have hired an advocate who threatened me to slap a case against me in the Delhi Civil Court and asked me to pay the amount which she has no account of !!! Also warning me that if the payment is made online, the case will be dropped and you won’t have the hassle of a court case so that they get their illicit money demands. Also, Tikona Digital Networks has provided extremely poor service during the duration of the connection and I have the complaint numbers as well as the ID to furnish against such poor service which are well over 15. I also have email proof of how outrageously bad their service was once the complaint was made and sometimes took them well over 5 days to resolve a couple of complaints. In case this proceeds to legal action I demand compensation from Tikona Digital Networks for poor and/or no service when a complaint was registered. I want immediate action to be taken against Tikona Digital Networks for fraud, Harassment and mental torture over payment of an amount that I am not liable to pay as well as cheating when it came to providing services. I have all written as well as telephonic proof of this fraud, cheating and harassment carried out by Tikona Digital Networks which I will furnish when need be or in a court. Make sure that Tikona Digital Networks do not harass me or hire a third party legal council to harass me and warn me of dire consequences when they do not have any background of the case! Compensation for poor and/or no service and for deliberately asking to pay for the internet when there was never any usage!
