Tikona – Not Resolving Payment Issue poor response by help desk

Complaint Aganist Tikona Broadband For Not Resolving The Payment Issue and Disconnection Issue for the User ID 1108381363 along with the Account No. 119921523 Dear Sir/Madam, I have been using Tikona Broadband from 26th of April 2013 in Kolkata, West Bengal. I was a Customer for them approximately for 9 (Nine) Months. I was promised a speed of 512kbps when I took the Plan. They gave me the New Connection in just 2 days. But after a couple of months the grim reality of Tikona started to appear. Whenever I used to call the Tikona Customer Care, I was put on hold for close to 20 to 25 minutes, and when the Tikona Customer Care people received the call they wouldn’t even listen to my problems and just take my Tikona Service ID: 1108381363, and they would say that they would put me on hold and then Directly Disconnect the Call. I was very much disappointed in their service. Then a new kind of trouble started I would often get speed where I couldn’t even open a web page, the internet speed was so slow that I couldn’t even login to Tikona’s Home Page. So after repeated complaints for almost 5 months, the Tikona didn’t even bother to call me back to see what my problem was. Then I decided to Switch to other service provider. Hence I asked them to deactivate my Account. After raising this ticket I started to get call from Tikonas various Representatives asking me to stay with Tikona and also told me if I would like to give them another chance they will provide with good support. Whenever I used to Call Tikona Customer Care about this nobody would first of all answer to my questions and if anyone tried to answer the call would somehow be disconnected. I have raised more than half a dozen tickets from their side to disconnect my Service. Then they Disconnected my Internet Service. And then on the 8th of January 2014 later also they are still generating my Bill every month without fail upto this day. I have raised more than Half a dozen tickets for Deactivating my Service but they replied back to me after 2 months saying if I didn’t reply back to the mail which they had sent within 4 to 5 days they would assume that I would like to Continue with their Service. I don’t know what kind of Logic that is? So now I have got a Bill stating that I have to pay Rs. 1,682.71 even though I’m not using the connection from past 2 months. I have received a call from an individual who did not mention his name but claimed to be practicing in the Delhi Court and informed me that if I don’t pay the above mentioned amount of Rs. 1,682.71 I will face Legal actions. What I do not understand is when there was a written request given to Tikona Digital Networks via email and they confirmed to have have received the email and replied back with the ‘Confirmation Email of Termination of Services’ on the 21st of January 2014. I just want this issue to be resolved. All my payments have been made and as requested to terminate the services 7 days prior to the end of the billing cycle. They send me a confirmation email of the termination after 2 weeks from the date of request to discontinue with services. I do not understand when they did not pay heed to the requwst for discontinuing the services why should I pay the bill for their fault. In my complaint I have mentioned both the emails.
