Torrent Power is making it prohibitive for consumers to install own meters. They have tight relationship with vendors and forcing them not to disclose bulk pricing to consumers. I contacted multiple meter vendors and sent them emails with my needs but the moment Torrent Power name came, their sales agents stopped responding because Torrent Power is a large client and they won’t burn relationship with them

I have to keep paying monthly charges for meters which I don’t want to pay. Torrent Power should stop their monopoly on owning meters of companies. They even go to the level of branding the meters in their own names. This act is flagrant violation of my right to install own meter.
