In the mid of Aug’14, I have contacted Sulekha.com to get the quotation for some packers n movers from Bangalore to Trivandrum for 5th Sept ’14. By then, I got a call from Mr Sachin(Mob 9986046xxx) and he quoted INR12000(Lorry transportation of Household items from Bangalore to trivandrum). He informed that he is from Transworld packers & movers pvt ltd and he sent me a mob msg of Transworld web address/email ID along with quoted amount(INR12000) on 26th Aug. Lateron, I confirmed that I need Lorry Transportation as well as loading the goods from my 4th floor apartment. Then Mr Sachin quoted INR14500 (INR12000 for Transportation & INR 2500 for loading). This was mutually agreed over phone. 5th Sept : On th day of departure, I visited Mr Sachin’s office(Transworld packers n movers) to get the lorry. That time, Sachin changed his words and askd INR18000 for transportation & INR2500 for loading. I did not understand how he could deviate from his promises and quotation. He said Transportation for INR12000 is now unavailable and due to last minute, I was forced to go for INR18000+INR2500(Total bill : 22650 including Tax) Altogether I received bill for amount INR22650(Including Tax) from Sachin. The bill was from ‘Kaushik Freight Carriers India’. When I asked for Transworld Packers & Movers bill, he replied that Kaushik movers were sister concern of Transworld group. Sachin promised to deliver the goods in Trivandrum on Monday(8th Sept) and he assured that the lorry is exclusively for our goods and the driver will not wait for other goods to fill the empty space. I paid the advance of Rs.5000 and a group of 3 people came to my house and all items were loaded onto the lorry. Full payment was done after loading. 8th Sept : In the morning, I called up Mr Sachin to know when the lorry would arrive. He replied the Lorry was currently in Kerala check post, due to Onam holiday, the RTO clearance is getting delayed. Immediately I called up the driver and he informed that the lorry has not started from Bangalore and he was still waiting for the other goods to be loaded onto the lorry. Even then, Mr Sachin was giving wrong information and he promised I will receive the goods by Tuesday(9th Sept). But I was getting actual status from lorry driver. The lorry started from Bangalore only on Tuesday and delivery was done on Thursday(11th Sept). Transworld packers & movers have taken almost 6 days to deliver which is pathetic and frustrating The lorry driver informed that my goods were unloaded in Transworld’s godown and loaded back till the time they waited for other goods. At the time of delivery, I was shocked that some my goods got damaged(Listed below). 1. One Wooden table 2. One Wooden chair 3. 1 Suitcase 4. Glass door of Microwave Oven Immediately I called up Mr Sachin to question why his people has handled my goods so roughly and why he has unloaded the goods in his godow

I am very much dissatisfied with the service I received from them. They should set the right expectation to the Consumer. I request you to take actions inorder to get compensation of the damaged goods at the earliest. Photographs of damaged items/fake details on the website and the bills are attached. My intention is that another person should not suffer just as I have gone through. Also need your attention on the fake information published in their Website(www.transworldpackers.com)
