This is Saurabh and I am an airtel prepaid mobile customer. My mobile no. is 9860385184.
This is to bring to your notice that during last week for one whole day the airtel network was down for maharashtra customers and it caused a lot of trouble.
Also after the network was restored the net pack activation service (*567#) was down and my net pack was not renewed and for this I requested customer care to activate the net pack. They reuested for netpack but it was not activated as every time I was using gprs my main balance was being deducted. So I called customer care 4 times (from numbers 9860385184 and 9096960517) but every time I got the response that there are some technical difficulties and it will be activated in 4 hours. But everytime I checked my balance was deducted. Even after talking to the supervisor I didn’t get any positive response or ERT for the problem. It took 3 whole days for service to be restored again.
At one end you say that airtel is most trusted telecom brand in India and on other end there wasn’t any single SMS from airtel for these kind of incidents thought there were dozens of promotinal SMSes. After this I would say that my trust in airtel has been broken and I am looking forward for other service providers. I hope customers will not face such kind of trouble in future.
