Sir, With reference to claim submitted in respect of Policy No. 250781/31/12/01/00001609 seeking claim nothing has been heard from UIIC Branch office, Chandusi, District Moradabad (U.P). Particulars of the case: 1) Date of accident 28-07-2012 2) Vehicle Number UP-13W-6741 in respect of which policy from United India Insurance Company, was purchased. 3) Survy of Vehicle was carried out on 01-08-2012 4) Claim is for Rs. 17099/- and Rs. 2070/- towards Survey cahrge. It is clear from the above that insurance company has been adopting delaying tactics in violation of its own citizen charter and directions issued by the Insurance Ombudsman. I therefore appeal to kindly direct the Branch office Chandausi to release the amount along with penal interest 24%. The delay is totally attributable to the negligent functioning of the branch. I also appeal to kindly grant Rs. 10,000/- towards the detriment suffered owing to pathetic services and indifferent approach exhibited by the UIIC Branch office, Chandusi, District Moradabad (U.P).
